Turpin Participates in Madison s Bottle Hill Day

On Saturday, October 5th, Turpin Real Estate once again participated in Madison’s Bottle Hill Day, the town s annual festival. Several Realtors from our Chatham Office hosted the Turpin booth on Central Avenue just north of Main Street. It was a fun day of greeting neighbors and friends who came out to enjoy the beautiful day. Richard Codey, the former Governor of New Jersey, even stopped by to say hello. No stranger to Turpin over the years, Governor Codey received the NJ Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention s Distinguished Leadership Award in 2007 at their An Afternoon of Awareness and Achievement fundraiser sponsored by Turpin and held at Turpin s Far Hills Office.

Bottle Hill Day Throughout out the day there were raffles of $25 Shop Madison gift certificates for adults, plus a great challenge for kids. We loaded a candy dispenser full of M&Ms and had the children guess how many were in there. The winner took home all the candy as well as a $50 gift certificate. Over 150 children entered numbers, but the exact number was submitted by Brian Marandola from Madison, whose precise guess of 2,772 M&Ms was the winner. Brian was joined by his twin brother, Mark, older sister, Jenna, and his parents, Kathy and Mark, when he collected his prize at the Chatham Office of Turpin.

We d like to thank everyone who participated in the raffles and the drawing, and send our congratulations to Brian and his family. It was great to be out in Madison experiencing everything that Bottle Hill Day had to offer. We are already looking forward to next year!
