This Saturday, June 16 from 11am to 7pm stop by Mendham Borough Park for a Food Truck Festival. Admission is $5, children under 10 are free, and the rain date is Sunday, June 17.
There will be over 25 gourmet food trucks, three live bands, plus a beer and sangria garden. Mendham Borough is kicking off their yearlong celebration of Abner Doubleday’s 200th birthday with this fun festival. Abner Doubleday was a combat general with experience in many important Civil War battles and a Mendham resident.
The Food Truck Festival offers activities for all ages. Bring your appetite, lawn chairs and blankets to this pet-friendly event. Dine on excellent food and enjoy face painting, balloons and rock wall climbing. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable canned or boxed item to donate to a food pantry.

The Beer & Sangria Garden will feature Flying Fish Brewing Company’s Outside IPA and Onshore Lager; Victory Beer’s Summer Love; Sea Dog Brewing Company’s Sunfish;
Breckenridge Brewery’s Vanilla Porter; and red or white sangria from “Senor Sangria.”
Bands include The Frost from 11am-12:30 offering an eclectic mix of original and cover music spanning country, rock and jazz. Country Comfort from 12:30 – 3:30pm will be playing hits from today’s top male and female country artists. Street Hassle and the Brass Balls take the stage at 3:30pm. This “Powerful Horn Band” is comprised of skilled area musicians who interpret classic rock, blues, Motown and pop songs.
Mendham Borough Park is located at the corner of Mountain and Park Avenues. Street parking is available as well parking in the Municipal Lot behind Robinson’s. Handicapped parking spots are located on Park Avenue. This community event is one of just many that make living in Mendham a truly special experience.
