Fall Hay Ride

It isn’t really fall until you’ve visited Alstede Farms, a local landmark located at 1 Alstede Farms Lane (84 Route 515) in historic Chester. This Saturday, September 29, enjoy a fall evening hayride before or after sipping fresh-pressed apple cider from Alstede Farms around a cozy campfire while listening to live music. The hay ride leads to the farm’s thrilling corn maze which can be traversed by flashlight and a stop in the pumpkin patch. Please bring your own flashlight and chair or blanket. The evening’s festivities take place from 6 to 10pm

While you’re there, visit the farm store’s seasonal offerings, fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade pies, jam, syrup, gourmet snacks and other delicacies. As you travel some of the scenic back roads of Chester, keep in mind that Turpin represents a variety of home listings in the Chester area.
