Community Event: Bonfire at Oldwick Fire Company

The field next to the Oldwick Fire Company will be the site of an old-fashioned bonfire on Saturday, January 19 at 6pm. The fire department has been collecting Christmas trees in their field for a few weeks which will be burned as part of the bonfire. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served at this event. The firehouse is located just south of the village of Oldwick at the intersection of Routes 517 and 523 in Tewksbury Township. For more information on this event visit the link provided HERE.

The Oldwick Fire Company was founded in 1938 and is an all-volunteer company comprised of community members. Comprised of approximately 35 highly trained volunteers, the company responds to emergencies both within Tewksbury Township and in the surrounding townships.  The Oldwick Fire Company responds to over 100 calls per year in addition to conducting routine training both in-house and with the mutual aid forces.
