The popularity of making small-scale fairy gardens is even more evident in the spring, which is why the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary in Bernardsville is offering an opportunity to create your own magical scene. Program Director Stephanie Punnett will lead this creative event on Saturday, May 4 from 2 to 3:30pm. Participants will make fairy-sized gardens filled with decorations and accessories made with natural materials. They will learn how to make houses, tables, chairs, swings and even a flower fairy. This event will offer ideas and examples to get you started, and then let your imagination do the rest.
Everything needed to create the garden will be supplied including a basket, soil, plants and fairy materials. Bring a glue gun if you have one. The cost is $25 per basket for members and $30 per basket for non-members.
