Beatrice "Bea" Daggett

Sales Associate

About Me

Bea brings a wealth of talent and regional knowledge to her sales associate position at Turpin. She has an extensive background in corporate, government, health care, community and new business development publicity. With over 25 years of experience as a public relations consultant, she is an outstanding communicator who relates well to real estate buyers and sellers. It would be hard to find a sales associate with as much personal and professional history relating to the area. Bea was director of development at the Morris County Park Commission and executive director of the Park Alliance, a regional group of corporate executives. As a leading account executive, she supervised the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism account for Keyes Martin. Additionally, Bea was a production assistant at New Jersey Public Television and a reporter for The New Jersey Reporter. She has lived in Bernards Township for 25 years and is familiar with countless aspects of life in the surrounding towns. Active in her community, Bea is a member and president of the board of trustees for Bernards Area Scholarship Assistance, Inc. and the Millicent Fenwick Scholarship Fund. She is vice president of the board of trustees at Bonnie Brae in Basking Ridge, a residential treatment center for troubled boys, and a member of the board of trustees of Project Acorn, an organization providing scholarships to pre-school children. She was an elected member of the Bernards Township Board of Education for nine years, and the founder and former board member of the Bernards Township Education Foundation. Married to Chris Daggett, Bea is a member of the Somerset Hills Country Club and a former member of the Morristown Club and Essex Hunt Club. The couple has two college-age daughters at Columbia University and Bucknell University, both graduates of Ridge High School. Bea is a graduate of Vassar College with a BA degree in political science. She studied French at the Sorbonne and has taken MBA courses at Fairleigh Dickinson. Bea was born in Budapest, Hungary and speaks Hungarian fluently. As a result, she has a deep appreciation for the amenities newcomers seek in an area. From her extensive volunteer activities in the community, she has a wonderful understanding of the Somerset Hills which she eagerly shares with her clients.
