When our only daughter bought a home in NJ, we decided to follow. We were living in
New York, knew nothing about the New Jersey housing market, very little about the area
and, having lived in our previous home for many years, remembered very little about the
buying process. All we knew for sure was that we had better secure a very good realtor.
After a few false starts, thank goodness we found Catherine Weinstock of Turpin Realty.
What set Catherine apart, was her sincere desire to help. Catherine never made us feel
like “clients”, or that we were simply a number to her. From the start she asked the right
questions, and quickly understood what we wanted. She used her vast experience to
teach us how to say no to what clearly was not going to work, and saved us a ton of time
and grief in the process.
Catherine has a “get it done” attitude, and was available to us via phone and e-mail at all
times. She was punctual, professional, and extremely effective in identifying
opportunities and coordinating our visits in the most efficient way possible. Catherine's
knowledge of local contractors, inspectors and handy-men was invaluable in helping us
to make informed decisions about the most minute details of the prospective homes.
We finally found our dream home in Bridgewater, New Jersey and we could not be
happier. Catherine is still a key resource for us as we adjust to our new surroundings. In
short, we would wholeheartedly recommend Catherine Weinstock of Turpin Realtors to
anyone considering purchasing a home in the New Jersey area.
Sincerely,

My husband Mark and I met Catherine over fourteen years ago when we were moving out of Manhattan and relocating to New Jersey. The year was 1996 and on our first trip to see homes in New Jersey, we ended up buying the third house that Catherine showed us. This didn't happen by accident. She listened to us, understood what we wanted and didn't waste time showing us homes that wouldn't suit our needs.
As new residents to the Bedminster area, we really needed someone to help us find local referrals. We needed to find help for everything - from landscapers to doctors! Naturally, we called on Catherine and she was more than able and delighted to share her wealth of knowledge. Here we are fourteen
years later, and we're still calling Catherine for help .... from the name of a good dishwasher repair man, to advice about building an addition onto our home. Over the years, her advice and expertise ranging from the mundane matters of running a home to the all important trends in a volatile real estate
market have proved invaluable. Knowing Catherine has been like having a personal concierge service. Today, we think of her as a dear friend, a trusted advisor and a very knowledgeable resource.

Catherine Weinstock has an exceptional ability to match buyers with appropriate properties which will meet their aesthetic and lifestyle requirements.
Her knowledge of the area, its various communities and neighborhoods and even the viewscape of the particular setting allows for buyer individuality.
This not only makes showing and subsequent sales a shorter timeline, it facilitates buyer and seller satisfaction.
Many realtors can show and sell. Cathy Weinstock arranges successful matches.

“We met Catherine in 2003 while purchasing a country house on acreage near the Delaware River in lower Hunterdon County. Catherine was the listing Turpin agent and provided a wealth of information about the property we were buying, as well as the surrounding area.
Several years later we decided to sell the antique home, which had always been our second residence. Initially, we listed the property with two different local luxury brokers in the Lambertville and New Hope area. After spending more than a year on the market with these brokers, we went to Catherine, whose office is not as local and asked her to list our home. Within weeks of listing with Catherine, our home was under contract! There were some challenges to overcome on the day of the closing, and Catherine went to great lengths to ensure that the closing occurred. She knew exactly what to do…otherwise it would have been delayed. Our only regret is that we had not listed our property with her right from the beginning.
For the past seven years, we have enjoyed a wonderful friendship with Catherine. She has been extremely helpful to us by supplying local contacts, sharing points of interest and helping us in numerous ways. We now live in Manhattan, and our only wish is that we could find a broker like Catherine here in the city!”

Over the years we have purchased or sold four homes with Turpin Real Estate in the Morris and Somerset County. Catherine Weinstock has represented us in three of these sales. The highlight was Catherine's successful marketing of our horse farm in Pottersville about four years ago in a very difficult market. It was a unique property that would appeal to a very limited number of people in the equine community. She produced an extremely professional brochure that clearly exhibited the unique qualities of our farm. She brought to the farm only responsible and credible buyers to consider a purchase. In a short period of time, the Turpin office found a qualified buyer that would carry out the traditions of our beloved farm and the purchasers have even become friends!
Catherine also successfully managed the sale of our Brookside antique home in Mendham in the early 1990s. It too was in another down market. The happy ending was a successful bidding war for our home!
As a satisfied client, Catherine has continually demonstrated to us her knowledge and understanding of our purchase or sale requirements and a keen sense of the history and details needed to properly list or purchase a property or home.

Dear Cathy,
You knew me back in the day–when I was actively practicing law and doing a lot of real estate work
When the time came to offer my former law offices for rent I chose you to act as my agent because I had always admired your ability to get a transaction accomplished. And while I am sure you never thought too much about it, you at some level knew I worked with many many real estate agents over the course of my thirty year career. And, again, I chose you.
From my point of view, I had nothing to offer for your services but a very small commission–one month’s rent; since I am now retired I could not offer you leads to new listings, or referrals of any of my former clients. I could not sing your praises at the Chamber of Commerce or at bar association meetings.
You treated my listing to rent as if it were a two million dollar real estate sale. You kept my potential tenants informed immediately with every piece of information they requested. You frequently updated me as to what buildings were renting, and what the rent comparables were. When a possible tenant surfaced you made sure a lease was presented to them so that they could proceed to lease the space in an immediate and timely fashion and you kept me from getting too piggy and fouling up the deal!
I have always felt that when a person works so hard, so diligently and so ethically when she is getting paid next to nothing for her services--- that is the true definition of professional, and that clearly is the person I want in my corner for everything else.
Thank you so much for making this lease happen. You have been remarkable. I will never forget this.
Sincerely.

Each and every property is unique unto itself and our horse farm, Longfield, located in the charming hamlet of Mountainville was no exception.
When we decided it was time to sell, we knew we wanted a realtor who not only had a pulse on the current market conditions but also one who would recognize and, more importantly, be able to communicate our home and land’s special nuances.
Catherine Weinstock is just such a realtor. Her diligence, enthusiasm and honesty are unwavering and we found the entire realty process with her, from listing to closing, a true collaboration.
There’s no doubt we will call upon Cathy again when the need arises.
