Denise Brandes

A longtime resident of Morris and Somerset Counties currently living in Mendham Township, Denise is a member of the North Central Jersey Board of Realtors and the Garden State Multiple Listing Service. The professionalism and outstanding reputation Turpin is known for made Denise's decision to join the Mendham Office an easy one. Before entering the real estate field, she spent ten years in the Cardiology Department of Atlantic Health System at Morristown Memorial Hospital. During that time, she also did graduate study at Columbia University in New York. Denise graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Two years of her undergraduate studies were devoted to interior design and she has an exceptional knowledge of diverse architectural styles spanning the years. Denise enjoys sharing this expertise with buyers and sellers. Additionally, as a native of the area, Denise can offer her clients sound advice about local schools, commuting distances, cultural events, recreation and more. In her free time, Denise is an avid long distance marathon runner, a hobby that has also provided her with many opportunities to raise money for charitable organizations. As a member of Trump National, she is able to pursue her passion for golf. Other interests include photography and travel. Her love of dogs led Denise to volunteer at The Seeing Eye, and with the Pet Therapy Program at St. Hubert's in Madison. Denise and her husband, Michael, who is an architect partner of Brandes Maselli Architects in Bernardsville, purchased a 1970s-era home built by two renowned architects. The couple is currently renovating the house with a keen eye toward its original design sense. Unique for its time, an article about the home was published in Architectural Record, Record House of 1976.
