Mary Jeanne "MJ" Mattell

A resident of Lebanon Township since 1992, Mary Jeanne has lived in Hunterdon County since 1984. She has an excellent knowledge of the real estate market in Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren Counties. Mary Jeanne has been a top producer in the residential sales field. She enjoys being part of a small local company like Turpin after working for a large-scale real estate corporation. A long-time admirer of Turpin's excellent reputation, she was always impressed by the professionalism of their agents, and decided to join the Oldwick sales team based on her positive experiences with the company. Mary Jeanne is a member of the Garden State Multiple Listing Service, Somerset-Hunterdon Board of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. She attained the New Jersey Association Circle of Excellence Bronze level award in 2004 for her outstanding sales.

Before joining Turpin, Mary Jeanne provided law and government experience as a legislative manager who focused on public rights-of-way and eminent domain issues. She was also an award-winning customer service manager at AT&T.

Living in the area allows Mary Jeanne to take advantage of her passion for horses. She is a longtime horse owner, caretaker and horse show exhibitor. This gives her a great understanding about the best ways to market, list and position equestrian properties and farms. She is a member of the United States Equestrian Federation, the New Jersey Professional Horsemen's Association and the New Jersey Horse Show Association. Mary Jeanne has won numerous annual awards from those New Jersey Equestrian Associations since 1979.

She and her husband, Tom, who owns a landscaping business, enjoy their two horses as well as a dog and a cat.
