Team Zeller

 When Ted and Shannon decided to get their real estate licenses and work together as a team there was never any doubt as to where they would work.  Turpin had represented them years ago when they moved to Tewksbury and they were overwhelmed by the professionalism, market knowledge, and courtesy of the entire Turpin team.  And, as they settled into the community, they found out that most of the people they met also had a relationship with Turpin for the same reasons.

The Zellers bring sales, marketing, and negotiating skills to the real estate world directly from successful careers in financial businesses.  Shannon was a vice president and fixed income portfolio manager at Banker’s Trust Company.  Ted was a senior vice president at Dillon, Read & Co. Inc. and a managing director at Dean Witter, later Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

After raising their two daughters and living in Plainfield, NJ, they decided to move to the country and chose Tewksbury for its old world charm and relaxed country living.  Selling real estate in a part of the country that they have grown to love and enjoy so much was an easy and natural transition. 

Shannon is a member of the Women’s Association of Morristown Memorial Hospital, and a former member of the Muhlenberg Hospital Auxiliary.  She served for many years as secretary/treasurer of the Wardlaw-Hartridge Parents’ Association in Edison, NJ, and Ted is an emeritus trustee of the Wardlaw-Hartridge School.  He is also a member of the Bond Club of New York and the Union League Club of New York.  Both are members of the Friends of the Tewksbury Library and the Upper Raritan Watershed Association.

In their free time, Shannon and Ted can be found gardening at their farm in Oldwick or riding around Hunterdon, Morris, and Somerset Counties on their Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic searching out neighborhoods, houses, and properties.  They also enjoy reading, winemaking, skiing, and traveling.
