Aimee has a solid knowledge of economics from her positions at the global financial services firm of Shearson Lehman Brothers and Alex. Brown & Sons, the first investment bank in the United States. These experiences give her a keen understanding of contract negotiation, markets and the wide array of financing programs available to homebuyers.
Serving on the Board of Directors for the philanthropic William E. Simon Foundation is important to Aimee, who helps carry out the foundation’s mission of awarding grants to help strengthen educational, faith-based, public policy and family organizations. Additionally, Aimee works closely with Project Independence at Morristown Medical Center, a group that helps hospital patients in financial need get back on their feet after a medical emergency.
Giving back to the local community includes Aimee’s service with the New Vernon Presbyterian Church as a Deacon, where she is involved in outreach and soup kitchen ministries. She was also a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 10 years and was named Volunteer of the Year by Colleen Giblin Foundation.
Aimee has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire. In her free time she spends time with her three children who range in age from 11 to 23, and enjoys their shared their interests in hiking, playing golf and tennis.
Living in the New Vernon section of Harding Township and being involved in the surrounding communities through her volunteer efforts for over 16 years, gives Aimee familiarity with local neighborhoods, housing availability, price ranges, school districts and more. Before moving to Harding she lived in London for nearly a decade.
