Deborah is a talented, dedicated and enthusiastic sales associate with extensive real estate, financial and corporate experience. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Delaware and attending the London School of Economics, Deborah worked on Wall Street as an investment analyst for Sanwa Bank. Later, she became a Vice President at Lehman Brothers where she acted as a financial consultant and portfolio manager. She also served as a Senior Vice President at UBS Financial Services in New York, Los Angeles and Orange County, California. In that position, Deborah trained new recruits and managed assets of nearly $250 million for individual clients and corporations.
While living in Laguna Beach, California, Deborah became a real estate investor who successfully flipped several homes and managed a portfolio of rental properties. Deborah also established a corporation called Manhattan West, Inc., which manufactured and marketed luxury consumer goods nationwide. Additionally, she served as a Group Leader and Fundraising Coordinator for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), an international non-profit organization dedicated to equipping young mothers with the skills needed to become leaders in their work, home and community. She played an integral role in founding the Teen MOPS and Prison MOPS programs, which have expanded across the country.
Deborah and her husband Brian McChesney, have four children who currently attend The School of Saint Elizabeth in Bernardsville. She actively serves on the school's fundraising committee.
A self-described Jersey Girl, Deborah was born and raised in Maplewood and has many happy memories of the summers she spent lifeguarding in Spring Lake and on Long Beach Island. She currently lives in Peapack-Gladstone.
Deborah strongly believes that New Jersey is a well-kept secret due to its pristine beaches, rolling countryside, its proximity to New York City and Philadelphia, and its amazing schools and communities. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of the Garden State with relocating buyers.
