With an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a multifaceted understanding of Somerset and Hunterdon Counties, Georgie is a trusted sales associate. She brings an outstanding background in finance, marketing and development to her position and will be a committed agent for any transaction.
"As an agent, you are responsible for one of a person's most valuable assets," says Georgie. "Whether as a seller or buyer, each transaction has facets that need a professional's attention. I enjoy working with people, identifying their goals and guiding their fulfillment. The whole process involves focus, discretion and creativity".
Georgie is a familiar face to many in Oldwick; she and her husband own The Magic Shop in the heart of this historic village. It operates for the benefit of The Bonnie Brae School for youth at risk in Liberty Corner.
Serving as Vice President of the Student Government, Georgie graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in economics and later studied at the University of Munich, while she and her husband, artist Reeve Schley, lived in Germany. The couple have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
A longtime area resident, Georgie grew up in Peapack and has lived in Whitehouse for 40 years. This gives her unique insights about local schools, architecture, neighborhoods and cultural activities. She believes in giving back to these communities. When her children were young, she served as trustee and co-chair of La Belle Boutique fundraiser for the Far Hills Country Day School, and elder and co-chair of the Capital Campaign for the Lamington Presbyterian Church, where she is presently on the finance committee, and trustee of the Bonnie Brae School. More statewide, she had served as President of the Board of Trustees of Morven Museum and Garden in Princeton and has been a longtime trustee of the State Museum in Trenton. Her civic involvement resulted in Georgie's receiving the Historic Preservation Award from the Garden Club of Somerset Hills." I have enjoyed and learned so much from all of my community work", she says. Her interests include old houses, art museums, antiquing, racket sports, bridge and travel.
Rely on Georgie for sound real estate advice whether your plans call for buying, selling or investing. " I will make you my top priority". She invites you to call, e-mail or visit the Oldwick office.
