After raising two children in Peapack and Mendham, Hilary moved to Oldwick in 1992 where she has become a familiar fixture running and biking the country roads and walking her dog daily in the village. She's a bundle of energy, counting gardening, skiing, boating, hiking, and playing the piano amongst her many hobbies. A world traveler, she has made numerous trips overseas, including recent biking vacations to New Zealand and South Africa, and has traveled extensively throughout the United States.
Hilary brings this zest for life to her real estate career, which began in 1991. Organizational skills, thoroughness and attention to detail are the traits that enable her to rise to the top of her profession, while a genuine ease with people, a sense of humor and outgoing personality are some of the reasons clients and colleagues agree that Hilary is a pleasure to work with. Over the course of the past several years, Hilary and her colleague, Valerie Fraser, have developed a team approach to selling real estate. As a team, Hilary and Valerie complement each other's skill sets and provide unparalleled client service in the areas of market analytics, technology and negotiating. Such broad-based comprehension is essential in today's every-changing real estate market, and key to the team's outstanding achievements in the industry. As long-time residents of Oldwick, both have extensive knowledge of Somerset and Hunterdon counties which they are able to share with clients and, as perennial members of the Million Dollar Club, have had success in this joint venture.
While continuing to restore her antique home, one of the original houses in the village of Oldwick, Hilary remains active in the Somerset Lake & Game Club and is a current trustee of the Tewksbury Land Trust, whose primary mission is to help preserve our precious open space. She was actively involved with the Far Hills Country Day School for many years and also served on the Board of Trustees of the Schiff National Land Trust. Additionally, Hilary is a past member of the Tewksbury Parks Committee where, in 1996, she founded the Tewksbury Township 5-mile Run, a popular fall event which continues to benefit local organizations. Her love of the area, combined with outgoing people skills, is the foundation of her continuing success at matching buyer and seller.
