Kathleen brings a wealth of multi-faceted business acumen to her sales associate position from time spent as a successful executive in the human resources field. She has over 25 years of corporate experience as a global HR professional in the manufacturing, solutions and banking industries. In those roles she worked for some of the world’s top firms including Credit-Suisse, Honeywell and Ingersoll-Rand.
While employed by Ingersoll-Rand, Kathleen had the opportunity to manage and work with a team on the creation of a new business development facility in New Jersey. She was instrumental in each phase of the project, ranging from securing the space, working with corporate real estate developers and base building construction, to the corporate interior design and organizational ecology of the space. The project won the 1999-2000 American Society of Interior Design, New Jersey Chapter Award for Interior Design.
Kathleen’s corporate background dovetails seamlessly with the needs of her buyers and sellers. In particular, her experience in recruiting and relocating employees to the Garden State serves her clients well. Kathleen explains: “My background and expertise in the human resources profession provides a solid foundation to transition into the business of real estate. Understanding and helping people achieve their goals and succeed is my passion.”
She recognizes how much this part of New Jersey has to offer due to its proximity to New York City, Philadelphia, the beach and the mountains. “It has been great to help people find their dream homes in a state I love,” she says. Kathleen is also Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean certified, professional designations that enhance her statistical analysis of real estate trends and data.
Active in her community, Kathleen is a member of the Community Emergency Response Technicians (CERT) for Bernardsville, and is also a member of the Somerset Hills YMCA and Bernardsville Middle School Home Association. A self-described adventure seeker, she loves traveling and learning about new places and cultures.
Clients and co-workers describe Kathleen as high energy, friendly, dependable and diligent. Her decision to join Turpin was based on the company’s culture and values, and the fact that each associate and client is treated as an individual with dignity, respect and integrity.
