Description

Highland Brook is a collection of 34 custom-built luxury homes in Gladstone. These Colonial-style residences were constructed in the mid-1990s and are situated on manicured properties along quiet cul-de-sac streets. Open floor plans at Highland Brook present stylish layouts with opulent living spaces. Design features of 2 Hunt Lane include a two-story entrance foyer, crown moldings, French doors to the deck, cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors throughout and lots of windows.

The original owners of this home have meticulously maintained and updated it.  In 2003, the kitchen was expanded and renovated. It features custom cabinetry, stainless steel double wall ovens, double dishwashers, a Wolf gas cooktop and a new Sub-Zero refrigerator.  The expansive center island and separate dining area are ideal gathering spots. The kitchen transitions with ease into a family room with gas fireplace and access to a Azek deck.  Updated in 2017, the master bath is luxurious and tranquil with radiant-heated floors for additional comfort, plus a soaking tub and large stall shower.

The basement has been finished with a full bath, recreation room and guest room. During the 2003 expansion, the basement grew and now offers plenty of additional space for storage, an exercise room or workshop.

Located less than a mile from the charming and historic village of Gladstone, residents here are close to New York transportation from the NJ Transit train station. Gladstone and the adjoining village of Peapack are known for their elegant country ambiance and convenient location near a network of interstate and local highways including Routes 78, 287, 202 and 206. Pride is also taken in their Blue Ribbon schools.

About Peapack-Gladstone

What happens when two villages are combined in one borough? The answer is Peapack-Gladstone, which is sometimes called the Twin Borough. Incorporated in 1912, two distinct villages are located in the northern part of Somerset County. Peapack is the southernmost village and Gladstone is the northern one. Both have a small shopping district, train station, post office, houses of worship, and homes in and around their Main Streets.

The two downtown areas are old fashioned and picturesque. Many homes lining Main Street, from stately Victorians to charming cottages or classic capes, feature well-tended green lawns and blooming flower gardens. Liberty Park has a small pond with fountains and picnic tables, and there’s a playground across the street. Concerts in the park and community events attract all ages in the warm weather. The trout-stocked Peapack Brook meanders through town, eventually joining the North Branch of the Raritan River.
