Our company would not be what it is today without all the people along the way. We currently have associates who have been with us for more than 30 years! Regardless of their tenure, it is the collective words and actions of these truly special people that have built our company’s sterling reputation throughout the years. The Second Generation Brings New Success
As a family-owned real estate firm, we take pride in our history of multi-generational family leadership. During the second generation of family ownership in the 1980s, the New Jersey real estate market was growing rapidly and our company was thriving. Jack Turpin was steadily leading and expanding Turpin Real Estate to further success. Thanks to Jack, we became known as the area’s luxury broker of record.

The First Generation Foundation
Turpin Realtors was founded by Virginia K. Turpin, a strong, confident and determined woman. These traits served her well as she set up shop in the 1960s, a time that was still very much a man’s world. Her plate-glass storefront was located in the old Mendham Borough firehouse in the era of ashtrays and rotary phones on every desk. Our telephone number was Liberty3-4808!
