All weekend long, Chester will be celebrating its 35th annual Harvest Celebration. Stop by historic downtown Chester on Saturday or Sunday, October 13 and 14, from 11am to 5pm for this free event.
This year’s highlights include
- An appearance by NBC television’s “Produce Pete” Napolitano on Saturday from noon to 3pm
- Historic sounds of the American Revolution's Fife and Drum performed by New Jersey's own "Colonial Musketeers Junior Fife and Drum Corp
- A fun, fall-themed Selfie Station
- South Hills Pet Adoption & Pet Costume Contest
- Special Musical Guests: The Morris Music Men, Morris County’s Barbershop Chorus
Other Harvest Celebration activities include an antique apple press demonstration, blacksmith demonstration, clown performance, face painting, Ford V-8 antique car show, pumpkin carving demonstrations, pumpkin painting, wood carving demonstration and more.
After the Harvest Celebration, visit charming downtown Chester’s 80-plus specialty shops featuring antiques, crafts, clothing, jewelry, home furnishings, pet products, confections and wonderful eateries.
