Visit the Morris Museum in Morristown on Saturday, February 9 from 11AM to 4PM for sweet adventures inspired by chocolate. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, chocolate vendors will be presenting treats in the Museum Court. Discover goodies from Ava’s Cupcakes, The Chocolate Path and Zigarelli Chocolates. Children can make a Valentine Love Bug craft as part of the day’s festivities.
Susan Fine from The Chocolate Path will host a chocolate tasting and presentation at 12:15, and her second talk about the history of chocolate begins at 2:45 pm.
For a separate ticket fee, visit the Bickford Theatre at the museum to see Morgan’s Journey at 11AM and 1:30PM. This piece of interactive theater is the longest-running touring play in Canadian history. It follows Morgan on a journey of discovery, learning valuable lessons along the way about love, friendship and the true meaning of happiness. Call the box office at 973-971-3706 for ticket information.
General admission to Chocolate Family Fun Day includes the museum’s exhibitions, crafts activities and workshops. Tickets are $7 for children, $10 for adults, and free for museum members.
