The 70th Annual Bedminster-Far Hills Egg Hunt will be held rain or shine on Saturday, April 20th beginning promptly at noon at the Far Hills Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds are located on the corner of Peapack Road and Route 202/Main Street. Children ranging in age from preschool to fifth grade are invited to participate in this free event.
Age categories are pre-k and kindergarten; grades 1, 2 and 3; and grades 4 and 5. Prizes will be awarded to 20 lucky randomly-drawn winners in each age group, with special prizes for those who find the golden eggs. Participants should bring their own baskets to collect the eggs, and bags will be available while supplies last.
There will be over 3,500 eggs candy-filled eggs, and the Easter Bunny will be on hand to meet and greet children and congratulate the winners. Candy will be given out to all participants. This fun-filled event is hosted by the Bedminster Township Recreation Department.
