Festival of Trees is Merry and Bright in Basking Ridge
Christmas may be over but there’s still a lot of holiday spirit at the 43rd Annual Festival of Trees in Basking Ridge presented by the Somerset County Park Commission. Visit the Environmental Education Center at 190 Lord Stirling Road to view an indoor exhibit of artfully decorated trees created by various community groups and individuals. The exhibit is open daily from 9:00am to 4:00 pm through Sunday, December 29 and the on-site Snowflake Café will be serving hot drinks and freshly-baked goods.
This annual holiday tradition presents dozens of trees decorated in specific themes which reflect the individual style, personality and artistic ability of local clubs, groups and businesses. For more information, visit www.somersetcountyparks.org or call 908 722-1200, ext. 5002.
